Younger Children and Families in the Diocese of Delaware
Camp Arrowhead. Located on Rehoboth Bay, Camp Arrowhead spans 167 acres and is open to all children who wish to have a fun-filled experience in the loving environment of God's beauty. Camp facilities are available to outside groups from September through May. The camp is operated by the Diocese of Delaware.
Cathedral Choir School of Delaware. This school has provided musical education to children and youth of Wilmington, Delaware, and the surrounding region since 1883. Our choristers range in age from seven to eighteen, and spend at least seven hours per week in choral training, free piano lessons, performance and travel.
Christ Church Episcopal Preschool, north of Wilmington has a core curriculum enriched by experts in the fields of early childhood development, reading, art, music, and physical education. The principles of "Conscious Discipline" permeate all that we do. CCEP has an active parents’ association to support the program and activities of our preschool. Call 472-0021.
The Delaware Ecumenical Council on Children and Families. This organization helps improve the health, safety and wellness of Delaware children, elderly and families.

St. Andrew’s School in Middletown demonstrates the importance and vitality of our ministry to young people and their families. Just across the lake, St. Anne’s Episcopal School offers children Pre-K through 8th grade a wonderful start on life. On the western shores of Rehoboth Bay, Camp Arrowhead offers exciting summer camping. (We expect to welcome nearly a thousand campers this year.) In almost every congregation there are Sunday Schools and youth ministries. A number of our churches sponsor or host daycare ministries for small children. And the Diocesan Council has entered into a partnership with First Steps / Primeros Pasos to offer affordable, quality childcare to working families in Georgetown.
Diocesan Commission for Christian Formation. A group of dedicated volunteers who arrange programs and activities for youth such as Wintercamp, as well as support for Christian Educators throughout the state.
First Steps / Primeros Pasos. A strong, multicultural, early learning center in Georgetown, with a program designed to prepare 3- and 4-year-old children for their academic experience in elementary school. Call 856-7406.
Foreclosure Information and Consumer Credit Counseling Service of MD & DE. This accredited nonprofit agency is dedicated to helping individuals and families resolve their financial problems.

Interfaith Resource Center. The Interfaith Resource Center has many resources for children, youth, and families, including curricula for Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Their on-line database is searchable.
Godly Play website. Children are taught the art of using religious language, parable, sacred story, silence and liturgical action. May this help them become more fully aware of the mystery of God's presence in their lives.
St. Andrew's School: co-educational, all boarding, 9-12th Grades, in Middletown.
St. Anne's Episcopal School for Pre-K through 8th Grade students. Most teachers have a master’s degree or state certification, and all members have an obvious love for students. Located in Middletown.
St. David's Episcopal Day School offers preschool classes for 3- and 4-year-olds. Classes are available for two, three or five days per week. Extended care is available. They have served families since 1955, in northeast New Castle County near the Pennsylvania border. Call 475-3747.
St. Michael's School and Nursery, downtown Wilmington. This non-profit institution in Wilmington provides affordable, multicultural, high-quality early childhood education and child care in a Christian atmosphere, and encourages physical, mental and spiritual growth.
