The profound injustice and suffering in the Holy Land compel us as people of faith to act for peace and security with justice.

"What is hateful to you, do not do to your fellow: this is the whole Torah; the rest is the explanation; go and learn."

—Rabbi Hillel (c. first century BCE)

Settlement building, home demolitions, evictions, travel restrictions, residence requirements that divide families, the siege of Gaza, and suffering and injustice of the Occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem continue as peace talks have stalled.

Please join us in advocating through Delaware Churches for Middle East Peace for a just and peaceful resolution to the conflict in the Holy Land.

Our membership has been growing steadily and already includes Catholics, Episcopalians, Lutherans, Methodists, Orthodox, Presbyterians, and Quakers. All are welcome.

Most recently we have met with our senators and congressman and advocated for:

  1. strong support of the Administration's peacemaking efforts;
  2. an end of the siege of Gaza by opening borders in a secure manner;
  3. Jerusalem for two peoples and three faiths; and
  4. Recognition of the plight of Palestinian Christians.
